✊ A Call to Conscience, Law, and American Values

To Secretary Kristi Noem, President Donald J. Trump, and the United States Department of Homeland Security:

We, the undersigned, urge you to reverse the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ethiopian nationals, effective February 13, 2026.

This is not a political appeal. It is a moral imperative grounded in American values, the rule of law, and human dignity—principles that transcend party, policy, and power.

You were entrusted with leadership—not just to enforce laws, but to uphold justice.
The decision to end TPS for Ethiopians does not reflect strength. It reflects a failure to protect those who have already found refuge in America.

Over 4,500 law-abiding, tax-paying individuals—parents, nurses, small business owners, and community members—now face forced return to a nation still engulfed in crisis.

They are not strangers.
They are your neighbors.
They are raising American children.
They are contributing to the economy and society you are sworn to protect.

To deport them is not enforcement.
It is abandonment.

Despite claims of stability, the truth on the ground tells a different story:

• The U.S. national emergency concerning Ethiopia remains in effect (extended September 2023).
• The State Department maintains a Level 3 "Reconsider Travel" advisory.
• Over 3.45 million people are displaced, with new waves of violence in Amhara and Oromia.
• 10.8 million face acute food insecurity, and cholera outbreaks are spreading.
• The UN reports drone strikes, the killing of aid workers, and deteriorating humanitarian access.
• Kenya’s High Court recently blocked deportations of Ethiopian refugees, citing lethal risk—proving global concern.

To claim Ethiopia is safe is to ignore your own government’s warnings.

Offering a $3,000 “exit bonus” and one-way flights through the CBP Home app is not voluntary departure.
It is coercion of vulnerable people—many of whom fear assassination, imprisonment, or torture under a regime known for transnational repression. This practice risks refoulement, a violation of international law and America’s legacy as a sanctuary from tyranny.

We ask:
Would you send your own family back under these conditions?

Most of us—including you—descend from families who once sought refuge.
America welcomed them.
Now, we are called to welcome, protect, and stand with others who have built lives here in peace and good faith.

These are not “illegal aliens.”
They are Americans in all but paper.

To deport them is to betray the very promise of this nation:

• That no one should be sent back to danger.
• That justice is not selective.

Immediate reversal of the TPS termination for Ethiopia.

• 18-month extension and redesignation of TPS, based on ongoing armed conflict and humanitarian emergency.
• Halt all deportation flights to Ethiopia.
• Transparent justification for the decision, including disclosure of advisors and evidence.
• Pathway to permanent protection for TPS holders who contribute to American society.

You have children.
You speak of faith, family, and freedom.
Imagine one of them would be forced to return to a warzone—because a distant bureaucracy said it was “safe.”

By a nation that once stood for refuge—and now risks complicity.

We call on you—as an American, as a leader, as a human being—to do what is right.

That is Trump's hidden Agenda: He wants the get all Palestinian people out of Palestine for his development project of a waterfront to settle his rich friends and Israelis. Countries, who oppose this idea get strafed: Travel-stop for all Sudanese and South Sudanese, Deportation of Ethiopian refugee from the USA and immigration stop, immigration and travel stop for all Somalis (but Bibi Nethaniyahu tries to coerce Somaliland), and so on.

Kristi Noem obviously just "follows orders" of her master. But such has been ruled out as excuse for civil servants and officers since the Nuremberg Trials and is enshrined in the Nuremberg Code. She is to be held fully accountable for her actions and orders as well as what harm is then caused.
