  • How we work

The Ethiopian-American Association was established in Minnesota, USA as a 501(c)3 recognized charity for charitable and scientific purposes, but works not only all over North-America but also in Ethiopia and the African continent.

We work in teams of well established US citizens and US residents of Ethiopian origin and New Americans as well as immigrants, who are members of EAA and hail from the greater Ethiopian realm or the Horn of Africa.

Together we create support networks to raise awareness about the culture, challenges and needs especially of New Americans and immigrants wherever they live within the local communities of the USA and Canada - in order to achieve harmonious integration and mutual benefits

In Ethiopia and other African countries we work with nodes comprising of Human Rights Organizations and the Ethiopian Diaspora who had to flee from Ethiopia.
